]init[ AG for digital communication, headquartered in Berlin, has taken a significant step in its growth strategy and successfully opened a new branch in the heart of Leipzig.

With an annual turnover of around 182 million euros in 2022 and a current workforce of over 1,200 employees, ]init[ AG is an established player in the industry. The decision to gain a foothold in Leipzig was a significant step for the company.

The story begins with ]init['s strong presence in Central Germany. In recent years, the company has attracted many digital talents from the Leipzig metropolitan region thanks to its remote work approach, which gives employees the freedom to choose their place of work flexibly. Michael Körner, Managing Director of Invest Region Leipzig GmbH, emphasised the logical decision in favour of Leipzig: "The decision in favour of Leipzig is a logical one in order to bring together the employees who otherwise work remotely - this allows the team in Central Germany to grow even closer together. Flexible working remains guaranteed, above all due to the great location in the city centre."

The opening of the new location in Leipzig has several advantages for the company. Firstly, it strengthens the proximity to customers and partners in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia, which intensifies cooperation in digitalisation projects. Secondly, the Leipzig location represents a broad portfolio of expertise that can flexibly access the resources of ]init['s other locations if required. This contributes to the company's growth strategy.
