Hamburg's sanitary wholesaler Penning Sanitär opens location in Leipzig

Penning Sanitär, a company with over 115 years of experience in sanitary wholesale, laid the foundation for further growth this year and established a new location in Leipzig. Following branches in Hamburg, Berlin and Frankfurt am Main, Penning Sanitär successfully moved into its new business premises in Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße in September 2023. Invest Region Leipzig GmbH (IRL) was able to provide significant support for this important step in the company's development.

Expansion in Leipzig as a business location

Penning Sanitär, an established plumbing wholesaler with more than 115 years of experience, has made a name for itself with its clear focus on excellent customer service and sustainable customer relationships. As part of this philosophy, the owner-managed family business has decided to open a new location in Leipzig. Under the management of Martin Voit and supported by a dedicated team of five, Penning Sanitär is capitalising on the strategic advantages of this dynamic city.

Leipzig was chosen as the new location not only because of its favourable location in central Germany, but above all because of the city's economic dynamism and welcoming environment. Leipzig is not only a central transport and distribution hub, but also impresses with its cultural diversity and innovative spirit. From here, Penning Sanitär will be able to serve its customers in central Germany even better in future - not only in the private sector, but also for large construction projects.

Penning Sanitär Leipzig with a focus on kitchen equipment and sanitary light

The new location in Leipzig specialises in equipping kitchens in residential construction projects, retirement and serviced apartment complexes, commercial kitchens and meeting points as well as furnished flats. The company has been active in this field for over 60 years.

In addition to this core business, Penning Sanitär in Leipzig also offers the "Sanitary Light" business segment. Shower enclosures, bathroom accessories, mirrors and towel radiators are offered here. The finish in the bathroom is guaranteed by high-quality products and first-class service.

The company attaches great importance to selected brands and partners that fulfil its high quality standards.
