SRH University opens new campus in Leipzig

The SRH universities are opening another campus in Leipzig for the 2024/25 winter semester. The new university building is located at Prager Straße 40 in the immediate vicinity of the SRH Vocational Training Centre, which has been located at Prager Straße 38 since 2019.

The university location will initially start with three main specialisations, with the aim of gradually expanding the range of courses on offer. Students can opt for international degree programmes (Bachelor's and Master's) in Computer Science (AI & Big Data, Cyber Security) and International Business with a focus on Supply Chain Management and Automotive Technology, as well as German-language degree programmes in Life Sciences such as Nutritional Therapy and Nutritional Counselling B.Sc. or Social Work.

The accredited SRH universities are represented at 12 locations throughout Germany with over 20,000 students. They offer a broad portfolio of Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in the fields of business, technology, health, education and social sciences.

University start in the coming winter semester

The IRL team advised the SRH universities on their relocation to Leipzig and provided intensive support. "Having already supported the British Lancaster University with the opening of its campus in Leipzig's city centre in 2019, we are delighted to have gained another provider for the city's educational landscape with the SRH universities, which we have been supporting since 2021, thus contributing to the qualification of tomorrow's talents," says Michael Körner, Managing Director of IRL.

SRH Leipzig University of Applied Sciences will begin preparations for the start of the 2024/25 winter semester in the coming months.
