Invest Region Leipzig joined forces with the Krakow Chamber of Commerce and Industry to host a business breakfast for Polish companies with interest in the German market.
When talking about the German market, we often do not realise that it is an economically very diverse market. The Federal Republic of Germany consists of sixteen autonomous states, the so-called German Länder (Bundesländer). They have their own constitution, their own capital, government and parliament.
They have different investment conditions such as the level of state aid, the tax system, the availability and price of investment space, the network of business contacts as well as the availability of qualified professional staff. Hence, the wise and informed choice of a suitable location based on reliable knowledge in this area is of crucial importance.
