Invest Region Leipzig Cooperates with Schkeuditz and Panattoni Europe
Invest Region Leipzig GmbH is working with the district-affiliated municipality Schkeuditz and Panattoni Europe to market the Panattoni Park Leipzig Airport. To this end, they signed a contract today at EXPO REAL in Munich. All three partners agreed to pool their expertise to bring companies to the airport park and pave the way for future tenants. "With Panattoni's marketing materials and our years of experience and expertise in regional development, we will attract potential tenants to connect them with Panattoni's experts", said Michael Körner, Managing Director of Invest Region Leipzig GmbH. Invest Region Leipzig GmbH will also give potential tenants far more than just industry-specific information. "It goes without saying that our free service also includes supporting future tenants in their search for specialists and grants," said Michael Körner. A blueprint for successful collaboration between the metropolis and medium-sized enterprises. Since 2017, Invest Region Leipzig's strategic objective has been to communicate the potential of the trade fair city and its surrounding areas by shining the limelight on their strengths. One example of this is the website www.diewirtschaftsallianz.de. This is where, the district-affiliated municipality Schkeuditz presents companies with a variety of facts and information on available space, core industries, infrastructure, and educational and leisure offers. The city of Schkeuditz will be very involved in this joint project. It will present the Airport Park on municipally-owned platforms, connect the project with personal contacts in the city administration, and coordinate with the project as needed to answer any questions the partners may have.
A Metropolis and Surrounding Areas with Potential
According to the Prognos-Zukunftsatlas 2019, Leipzig and the surrounding area is the most dynamic region in Germany. "Thanks to a perfect infrastructure consisting of the motorway network, railway connections, and the international airport, more and more companies are moving to the Leipzig region. Cities like Schkeuditz, with their enticing areas, are also starting to attract the companies' attention.
