T-Systems Multimedia Solutions opens project office

New IT settlement in Leipzig

T-Systems Multimedia Solutions supports large and medium-sized companies as well as large corporations during their digital transformation. In addition to locations in Berlin, Bonn, Jena, Munich, Hamburg, Stuttgart and Dresden, the digital service provider already has further project offices in Rostock and Meschede. In addition to the topics of the internet of things, big data, artificial intelligence and IT security, application performance management and cloud services are also going to be offered to customers from Leipzig in the future.

Leipzig was chosen due to its high growth dynamics as well as its proximity to universities and technical colleges in the region that have a pronounced focus on computer science. Invest Region Leipzig GmbH has supported the digital service provider in establishing initial contacts with local businesses, associations and universities as well as with information concerning personnel recruitment.

Dr. Michael Schimansky, who is the head of the Office for Economic Development of the City of Leipzig, says, “The settlement once again shows that the Leipzig region is one of the most important and most attractive economic centres in eastern Germany.
