SACHSEN Sail Sets Course for England
On June 19, it’s time to cast off once again! That’s when the 23rd edition of SACHSEN Sail gets underway in Belfast. This year, Invest Region Leipzig is joining the event as a partner for the very first time. The destination of the “Santa Maria Magdalena” is England, where IRL is actively represented with its own contacts in the London, Birmingham, and Manchester areas to further promote the many advantages of the Leipzig Region in this important market.
Three-day business forum as the programme highlight
The exchange between British and Central German companies is set to be further strengthened through SACHSEN Sail. A key part of the programme is a three-day business forum taking place from June 22 to 24 in Manchester, Birmingham, and Coventry. The agenda includes meetings with politicians, company visits, and symposiums.
One highlight, for example, will be a panel discussion in Birmingham on June 23 titled “The Creative Economy And Why It Matters Right Now,” organised by Leipzig’s partner city. Among the participants will be Adam Breeze, UK representative of Invest Region Leipzig.
